plan to attend COP31; New Paths for Climate Policy and Sustainable Development
With increasing global commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and countries moving towards a low-carbon economy, Iranian Green Management Association has designed a scientific and executive program for attending the COP31 Conference with the aim of empowering managers, experts, and activists in the fields of environment, energy, and sustainable development. This program will be held from November 10 to 15, 2021 in Istanbul and Antalya, and a specialized pre-session will be held at the Iranian Chamber of Commerce before that.
With a practical approach, this program attempts to familiarize participants with the latest global trends in the field of climate change, carbon management, environmental standards, green economy, and international trade requirements and provide the opportunity for direct interaction with international experts and activists.

Program structure
This event will be held in two main parts:
-Specialized pre-session
The meeting, which will be held at the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, will discuss the most important achievements of COP30, possible axes of COP31, climate diplomacy, carbon markets, and the requirements for the effective presence of Iranian companies in this international event. Participants will also be introduced to the roadmap for attending the conference and how to introduce their organization’s capacities.
– Educational trip and attendance at COP31
This section will be implemented in two stages:
- Istanbul: Holding specialized workshops on carbon footprint calculation, water footprint, ISO standards, EPD preparation, green human resource management and presentation of carbon reduction projects.
- Antalya: Attendance at COP31 specialized sessions, visit side exhibitions, B2B meetings, international networking and familiarization with new green technologies.
